Description
BPC-157 is a synthetic pentadecapeptide based on a partial sequence from a gastric protein. Researchers study it as a cytoprotective and angiogenic reference peptide for tissue-repair work.
In cultured cells and laboratory animals, investigations have focused on vessel growth, tendon and connective-tissue cell behavior, gut-lining protection, and growth-factor signaling. Its stable sequence makes it a common repair-research probe.
